Arrive in groups, walk through the main streets of the city, avoid parks and narrow streets. Police officers will stand next to the train and bus stations. They will also observe the Vytauto avenue.
Take out all Pride-related objects once you arrive to the meeting place by the Soboras, and hide it once the protest is over.
Don't bring any objects that could endanger others. Police officers might check bags or suspicious individuals.
Our volunteers will look after the safety of the march. They will wear fluorescent vests. If you have any questions, remarks, or need any help, feel free to ask them. Also, it is very important to listen to the volunteers' instructions.
When making posters we encourage you to think about what kind of a message you want to convey. Posters inciting hatred, together with their authors, might be escorted from the march.
Have your phones fully charged. We will ask everyone to read our manifesto together. The post will be pinned on the Kaunas Pride facebook page. Documentation is important not only for memories, but also for safety. In addition, a drone will fly above us, filming everything.
We ask everyone to wear protective face masks. Volunteers will be giving out special Pride face masks. We ask everyone to have this symbol of unity. Pink face masks will have a slogan SILENCE = DEATH written on them. This phrase poins out why it is important to talk about our problems.
We ask everyone to ignore any possible provocations. Our goal is to be heard. If you notice any provocateurs in our crowd, tell the volunteers or the accompanying police officers.
